Boat stickers 2024

Each resident, before launching his or her boat (motorboat, sailboat, canoe, kayak, etc.), must obtain a user’s certificate (sticker). This sticker allows for free washing at one of the two stations (North Hatley or Ayer’s Cliff).  The sticker includes parking and drop-off for North Hatley residents at the municipal car wash. Proof of residency may be required before washing. .

Condition of issue

RESIDENT
A resident must provide proof of residency and proof of ownership of the boat in his/her name (certificate issued by Transport Canada). A new form is now available for the issuance of user certificates. This form includes a section allowing the resident, whose boats do not leave the lake, to sign an attestation in order to act as a first wash certificate.

NON-RESIDENT

A non-resident who does not have a mooring place (dock) on Lake Massawippi cannot obtain a sticker. They must obtain a wash certificate ($30 for motorized / $5 for non-motorized) at one of the wash stations to be able to launch their boat, each time. A non-resident with a mooring (dock) on Lake Massawippi must provide proof of rental or occupancy of a site on the lake (e.g. lease) to obtain a sticker.
